Last week, Racing Metro 92 went through a roller-coaster week, with many different emotions, such as the construction launch of the Arena 92, the arrival of Mike Phillips, and a relocated HCup match in Nantes ending in a heavy defeat against Harlequins (8-32) at Stade de la Beaujoire. Luckily for them, as they travel to London for the second round of the back-to-back games against Harlequins, Racingmen have a chance of making up for it this week-end, and of starting the return leg of pool games on the right foot.
The number of offloads executed by the whole Ciel et Blanc squad during the round 3 of HCup against Harlequins. The three-quarters were the most successful in this exercise with five offloads, in front of a near capacity crowd at La Beaujoire stadium. The four loose forwards who played against Harlequins completed two successful offloads, while the front- and second-rowers managed only one.
As a comparison, the Harlequins squad totalled only seven successful offloads. The tight five executed one offload between them, while the back row and the three-quarters made three successful offloads each.
