After their success over Montpellier in the last first leg match of TOP 14, Racing Metro will focus back on Europe for the two coming week-ends, in a double confrontation against Harlequins for Day 3 and Day 4 of HCup. The first meeting, at home for Ciel et Blanc, will exceptionally be hold at stade de la Beaujoire in Nantes.
As the number of players used by Racing Metro in this 2013-2014 HCup edition. Out of the two European matches played this season, the Ciel et Blanc coaches called thirty players who all contributed to Racing’s good start and each collected playing-time. Furthermore, four Racingmen in persons of Benjamin Lapeyre, Juandré Kruger, Juan Imhoff and Jonathan Sexton, all performed eighty minutes in both HCup matches.
On the London squad, Harlequins used twenty-five players for their first two HCup days this season. Six English players made complete performances as Darryl Marfo made both game sheets but didn’t find the opportunity to join either of the games.
