Summer tours - Racingmen on the International scene!


After the Racing defeat against Toulon in the French championship semi-finals, the season is at its end for our Racingmen! But not for our international talents! The Ciel et Blanc colours will be highly represented on the international scene with all of the summer tours, Barbarians and World XV squads and the IV Nations championship.  (Credit photo : Julien Poupart // Attitude Rugby)




France tour to Australia :


The French head coach, Philippe Saint André has unveiled his players list called for this Australian summer tour. France will play three games against the Wallabies, on June 7th in Brisbane, on June 14th in Melbourne, on June 21st in Sydney.

Ciel et Blanc scrum-half Maxime Machenaud and flanker Bernard Le Roux have both been selected by the French staff and will travel to Australia for this 2014 summer tour.



Ireland tour to Argentina :


Ireland, the 2014 VI Nations winner, will travel, on June 1st, to Argentina to challenge twice the Pumas, on June 7th and 14th. Ciel et Blanc fly-half, Jonathan Sexton makes the squad and will travel to Argentina for this summer tour.

On the Pumas’ side, the Head coach did not establish any list yet. But Racingmen Juan Imhoff and Juan-Martin Hernandez could potentially be called.



Wales tour to South Africa


Three welsh Racingmen, Mike Phillips, Jamie Roberts and Dan Lydiate could potentially join the national squad in their summer tour to South Africa. The Red Dragons will play the Springboks twice, on June 14th and June 21st.

The South African squad may also include Ciel et Blanc second row Juandre Kruger.
