The number of defenders beaten by the Ciel et Blanc, during the first leg match against Bordeaux. In this first confrontation, at stade Yves-du-Manoir, Racing Metro 92 came out beating Union Bordeaux-Bègles on the score of 26-19, scoring, for the first time of the season, three tries in one match. During this offensive match, the Ciel et Blanc players got rid of 23 Bordeaux defenders. Marc Andreu made the top performance of the team in this exercise, beating six defenders for himself. He was followed by Benjamin Fall and Maxime Machenaud who each got rid of five Bordeaux defenders.
On the Girondins’ side, the number of Racing defenders beaten went up to 13 in this match. Winger Talebula, with also six defenders beaten, was the team’s top performer, followed by Tuifua and Connor each counting two defenders beaten.
